Advent is the time of year when the Church looks back at the first coming of Christ with celebration and joy, while looking forward to the second coming of Christ with anticipation and expectation. Throughout Advent, we look at themes of hope, peace, joy, and love. These themes remind us that we currently find ourselves in the space between what Christ has already done and what Christ is coming again to do.
